The easiest section in CLAT is the English section. It is followed by the Legal Reasoning and Logical Reasoning sections, which are both of moderate difficulty. The Current Affairs and General Knowledge section is generally considered to be the most challenging section in CLAT.
However, it is important to note that the difficulty level of each section can vary from year to year. Additionally, the difficulty level of each section may also vary depending on your individual strengths and weaknesses.
Here are some tips for excelling in each section of CLAT:
- English: Focus on improving your grammar, vocabulary and comprehension skills. Practice reading and analysing passages from a variety of sources, including newspapers, magazines and academic journals.
- Legal Reasoning: Familiarise yourself with the basic concepts of Indian law, such as constitutional law, contract law and criminal law. Practice solving legal reasoning problems from previous CLAT exams and other law entrance exams.
- Logical Reasoning: Practice solving a variety of logical reasoning problems, such as critical thinking problems, analytical reasoning problems and deduction problems.
- Current Affairs and General Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on current events and general knowledge topics by reading newspapers, and magazines and watching news programs. You can also use online resources to prepare for this section.
It is also important to practice taking full-length CLAT mock tests under timed conditions. This will help you get used to the format of the exam and learn how to manage your time effectively.
